Mass Spectrometry Analysis Service—GC/MS

Mass spectrometry has become invaluable in a wide range of fields and applications, including proteomics. The development of high throughput and quantitative MS proteomics workflows has expanded the scope of protein structure, function, modifications, and overall protein dynamics. In addition, MS has been widely used in metabolomics and glycomics analysis. Creative Proteomics is equipped with advanced mass spectrometers to support your experiments in academia or industry with the professional mass spectrometry-based analysis described above.

Name of the Instrument/Technicial Service

GC/MS

Summary

The GCMS is a nominal mass Agilent 5977B mass spectrometer detector attached to a 7890B gas chromatograph with autosampler. It allows for the measurement of ions generated by electron impact (EI) or chemical ionization (CI) with m/z in the 10 to 1000 dalton range. The GC uses a 30 m, 0.25 mm, 0.25 µm J&W HP-5ms Ultra Inert column with a maximum operating temperature of 325℃ and has a maximum oven temperature of 400℃. It uses ChemStation acquisition software, ChemStation/MassHunter data analysis software, and can access the NIST library.

Creative Proteomics offers you GC/MS-based mass spectrometry services to help you solve your research problems related to proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and more. If you are interested, please contact us directly.
