Mass Spectrometry Analysis Service—Waters ZMD Quadrupole Instrument

Mass spectrometry has become invaluable in a wide range of fields and applications, including proteomics. The development of high throughput and quantitative MS proteomics workflows has expanded the scope of protein structure, function, modifications, and overall protein dynamics. In addition, MS has been widely used in metabolomics and glycomics analysis. Creative Proteomics is equipped with advanced mass spectrometers to support your experiments in academia or industry with the professional mass spectrometry-based analysis described above.

Name of the Instrument/Technicial Service

Waters ZMD Quadrupole Instrument

MANUFACTURER: Waters

Summary

The ZMD, with upper mass range 2000 m/z, is a quadrupole mass analyzer based detector that provides molecular weight and structural information for a wide variety of analytes. Samples are introduced into the source of the instrument from an HPLC or other liquid introduction system. Ionization at atmospheric pressure takes place in the ESI or APCI ion source. These ions are filtered according to their mass to charge ratio (m/z). The resultant mass separated ions are then detected via a photomultiplier detection system. The signal is amplified, digitized and presented to the data system.

Creative Proteomics offers you Waters ZMD Quadrupole Instrument-based mass spectrometry services to help you solve your research problems related to proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and more. If you are interested, please contact us directly.
