This q-Orbitrap (FTMS) mass spectrometer is capable of high resolving power (140,000), and high resolution MS/MS. It is highly sensitive and able to switch quickly between positive and negative ion mode. It comes with the protein mode option to facilitate the analysis of larger biomolecules which need an optimized pressure in the collision cell for maximum sensitivity. We also have Thermo's protein deconvolution software to facilitate the calculation of the neutral molecular weight from multiple charge states. It is coupled to an Ultimate 3000 uHPLC.
