Optical Spectroscopy Analysis Service—CD (JASCO 715)

Spectral analysis is the identification of a substance and the determination of its chemical composition and relative content based on its spectrum. Creative Proteomics offers highly accurate, easy-to-use spectral analyzers that are tailored for laboratory and manufacturing environments. Measurements carried out include OSNR, channel power, SMSR, central wavelength, and more.

Name of the Instrument/Technicial Service

CD (JASCO 715)

Introduction

Parameters and Options: 1. Spectral range: 165-900 nm. 2. Temperature range: -10 to 110 Celsius 3. Spatial band width: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10 nm, manual 4. Slit width: 1-300 µm 5. Measurement sensitivity: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 100mdeg/FS 6. Magnetic Adjustments 7. 2D or 3D spectrum 8. Continuous or step spectrum

Summary

CD spectropolarimetry utilizes left- and right- circularly polarized beams of light to excite optically active samples. The difference in emission intensities released perpendicular to the excitation light is then measured for the sample, and the temperature scan data and spectrum are obtained and displayed.

Creative Proteomics offers customers the advantages of fast and sensitive CD (JASCO 715)-based spectroscopic solutions for a wide range of applications in chemistry, geology and soil science, mining and metallurgy, food science, and medicine.
