Mass Spectrometry Analysis—Waters Synapt G2S-i Q-TOF with Ion Mobility

Mass spectrometry has become invaluable in a wide range of fields and applications, including proteomics. The development of high throughput and quantitative MS proteomics workflows has expanded the scope of protein structure, function, modifications, and overall protein dynamics. In addition, MS has been widely used in metabolomics and glycomics analysis. Creative Proteomics is equipped with advanced mass spectrometers to support your experiments in academia or industry with the professional mass spectrometry-based analysis described above.

Name of the Instrument/Technicial Service

Waters Synapt G2S-i Q-TOF with Ion Mobility

MANUFACTURER: Waters

Summary

The Synapt QTOF is a next generation electrospray TOF instrument. In addition to high mass accuracy and resolution, the Synapt is equipped with an ion mobility chamber. Ion mobility measurements facilitate determenation of molecular cross-sectional area. This can be used to detect the difference between structural isomers of a single chemical formula, measure the folded or unfolded state of proteins, and detect assembly states of macromolecular complexes. Sample introduction can be performed via classic electrospray, online nanospray with direct infusion or HPLC, and offline nanospray using as little as microliters of sample. The high performance, sensitivity, and ion mobility capability of the Synapt makes it unrivaled for the biophysical study of complex systems.

Creative Proteomics offers you Waters Synapt G2S-i Q-TOF with Ion Mobility-based mass spectrometry services to help you solve your research problems related to proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and more. If you are interested, please contact us directly.
