The Applied Biosystems syringe pump HPLC system is used with the Esquire to provide LC-MS data. The facility has a modest selection of columns (C-4, C-8, or C-18 packing). Researcher can supply your own microbore or analytical column. An Agilent 1100 system can be used with analytical columns.

If you are working with thermally labile compounds, analyses of these samples may be accomplished using the Bruker Esquire 3000 plus ion trap mass spectrometer equipped with an ESI (electrospray) ion source. This instrument is capable of analyzing small organic, inorganic and large biological molecules. If your sample is a mixture of components or contains with salts and/or detergents they need to be removed before analysis. The ion trap is also capable of providing MS11.
